UntitledDear Justin, Your scent still lingers on the covers. It smells like tart lemons and sweet cinnamon, but the pungent odor of coffee from your breath overpowers the fragrance. I sometimes curl myself in them and press the dark ink splotches from your pen to my cheek, hoping that if everything else left, at least your touch would remain . Your comforter was always warm when we wrote on the bed together. But my bed is always cold, even after a 9-hour sleep. I’m still not enough for your blankets either.

Orangesi watch the woman with weathered hands, creased and wrinkled and a slight tremble that rocks the cradle of her fingers
squeezing oranges in her time a few of those blossoms entwined in the flecks of her gray hair she peels and savors the citrus elixir and slices the citrine with a dull wooden blade

and i like breaking the rules in capitalization sometimes. i'm a grammar freak though.

i'm sorry, guys. i started school last week. i'm very busy with AP classes and such. i take a mountain of books home everyday. extracurriculars are coming up, and i'm starting language classes for credit on Saturdays soon too.

but in any case, how was your summer? mine was packed, but i won't go into detail about it.

it's burning here! i might as well be in a 6 by 6 foot room with a smoker in this kind of air quality. why have you forsaken us, good weather?! *shakes fist*

gotta go prepare an essay now. cheerio!
